Cincinnati Chili
I fell in love with Cincinnati Chili while on tour. I hope you enjoy this
easy to make version.

Ingredients:
- 1 qt water
- 2 lbs lean hamburger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 2 large chopped onions
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 toe garlic
- 2 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp red or chili pepper
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp allspice
- 1 6 oz can tomato paste
- 1 1/2 Tbsp cider vinegar
- 3 large whole bay leaves
Instructions:
- Crumble raw hamburger (do not brown) into water, add all ingredients. Bring
to boil, then simmer for 3 hours.
- Remove garlic toe and bay leaves.
- Add whole red peppers, if desired, for spicier taste.
- Serve over spaghetti and
sprinkle generously with grated cheddar cheese, chopped onion and oyster
crackers.
